I can't help myself. I really can't. I'm not even sure why I do it...but Twitter's got a hold on me. It's almost like a perfect blog platform. While not really being a blog, it is about all I can handle on most days..lol. As you can tell by my Vox blog, I don't have much to say, and if I do, it isn't terribly rambling or lengthy. That's where Twitter comes in. A quick SMS, or Twittermobile post, the occasional link, or a quick thought in Twitbin....it's perfect for me, and my pathetically short attention span.

The amount of tools and mashups alone, make it a lot of fun to screw around with. If you don't yet Tweet, I suggest you get started.

BTW...this post would not have fit in a Tweet....good for me.

Interesting post. This is actually the reason I haven't signed up for Twitter is because I'm scared it will take over. :-)

It took over myself for awhile, then I stopped using Twitter--and subsequentially, blogging tools altogether.

I have not tried Jaiku, which I hear is supposed to be the same thing...

have you tried Tumblr?

yeah, tumblr is ok...i really don't see what makes it so trendy. it doesnt have very many features.....

I musta missed something on Twitter. What features do they have? It seems to me that Tumbler has more, lol

lol. I don't like Twiiter because of its features, I like it because it's quick and easy. I do like the set of third party apps for Twitter, such as Twttervision, which is quite hard to stop looking at..lol.

Maybe I just don't 'get' Tumblr...it doesn't seem to be interactive. I think Vox is MUCH better.

I did, and honestly, that turned me off from blogging even moreso than Twitter did. It is a nifty RSS aggregator service for a single purpose blog, though.
